Umbria, land of peace
The Subasio is the Mountain of the Peace. Everything on
the large meadows that cover the top of this rose limestone
mountain – 
just
the same rock with which was built Assisi and Spello - invites
to serenity and positive thought, that one which builds
and let meet. Umbria in many places keeps this atmosphere,
of which the forms and the colours of this land are deeply
full, and there is an intimate dimension of the landscape
that doesn’t show, but reaches directly the heart.
Some views of the Umbrian landscape, the magic harmony among
the plants, the reflection of the rivers, the shapes and
whiteness of the limestone rocks and the silver grey of
the olive trees, invites to the interior quietness and the
heart inclination to a spiritual dimension. This the reason
of its millenary history, that is studded with monasteries,
confraternities, philosophic communities where people come
to pray, to meditate and to live deep experiences of communion
with nature. Here their routes meet, lighting up, becoming
more deep and revealing themselves.
