The hills of Bettona and Torgiano.
Towards Assisi and the Umbrian valley
Bettona, Torgiano and Deruta, the first one located on a
promontory dominating the plain of Assisi, lower the other
two, looking towards the Tevere, are growing like mushrooms
on the last slopes, towards the plain, of a narrow and stocky
system of high hills dividing the valley of the Tevere from
the Umbrian valley. If you want to spend nice moments with
your family and your children, there is a place made for
you: the country house MIRALDUOLO which, immerged in the wood of the
Tevere, will allow you to relax through walks by foot or
cycling. Rich of extraordinary woods famous for the boletus
you can find, these silence hills are crossed by articulated
pathways, rich of sources and little rivers where it is beautiful
to walk through. And to continue the magic at a good table,
a stay at the country house TORRE
di BURCHIO, inside a fauna oasis , is an ideal
place for lovers of nature and authenticity.
The Subasio, a bit for its symbolic valences and a bit for
its lone less position and its maternal form, is the mountain
of the Umbrian people, symbolic place and unique space. Walking
on the immense grasslands of its peak one gets along with
the breath of the world, of a natural world full of presences
and good spirits. The large prospect over all Umbria we have
from there gives you the vertigo. At a certain point you
need to seat down, to meditate, to profit from the magic.
The Umbrian valley between Assisi, Bevagna, Spello, Trevi
and the hills of Montefalco was, once, still in historic
era, welcoming a large lake, the Umbrian lake, and, its heredity
still preserves its fertility. Such fertility can be seen
through the narrow network of trenches, canals, rivers, small
lakes and the lines of poplars sweetening its borders.
In Spello, at the DUE
TORRI you can visit the particular garden of the senses,
immerged in a preserved nature and an authentic environment.
